Karen Harris
I like digging in the dirt! Nothing feels better than grit under my fingernails and mud between my toes, except, of course, seeing the fruits of my labors...a stunning flower bed or a bountiful vegetable garden. I cultivate a half-acre vegetable garden, fruit trees, bushes and brambles, as well as some flower beds at my 125-year old farmhouse in the Midwest with some (reluctant) help from my four daughters and two dozen chickens. The goats have even helped me prune some fruit trees from time to time, but usually without my permission!
Even more than gardening, I enjoy writing. Look for my gardening articles to cover a wide range of topics, from fruits and vegetables to flower beds and landscaping tips.
If you have any questions or an idea for a gardening story you would like me to write, just drop me a quick email at kharrisindaburg@hotmail.com.
